Gabriela García, BS

Clinical Research Coordinator

Gabriela is the clinical research coordinator for the Latino Diabetes Initiative. She was born and raised in Puerto Rico. Later, she moved to the United States to complete her Bachelor’s degree in Biology at Brown University.

Living in Puerto Rico where there is a great incidence of Diabetes, Gabriela became very interested in the topic, and was very excited to join Joslin, a place where she could use both her desire to help people and interest in research in order to find ways to improve people’s health.

At Joslin, she is currently investigating the effect of Group Medical Visits on patients with Type 2 Diabetes.
