Paula Diaque Ballesteros, MS, RD, LDN

Registered Dietitian and Nutrition Educator

Paula is the dietitian and educator for the Latino Diabetes Initiative. She was born in Mexico City and is bilingual in English and Spanish.

Paula studied in Universidad Iberoamericana and graduated with honors. She completed her Master’s Degree in Nutrition at Boston University; later on she came to the visitors program of the Initiative and was offered a permanent position.

As part of the healthcare team, Paula educates patients through individual appointments and group classes in different areas that teach about diabetes and how to have a good control, focusing on healthy eating.
