Jessica Hopfield, Ph.D. is a former partner of McKinsey & Company in their Global Pharmaceutical practice. While at McKinsey from 1995-2009, Ms. Hopfield served clients across pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device and consumer industries with a focus on strategy formulation, R&D management and marketing.
Ms. Hopfield also held Associate Director positions at Merck Sharp and Dohme in Clinical Development, Outcomes Research, and Marketing. In 2010, she founded J Hopfield Consulting to provide strategic guidance and executive coaching to start-up technology firms seeking to commercial intellectual property. Ms. Hopfield also provides counsel to institutional investors on their healthcare portfolios.
Ms. Hopfield earned an MBA from Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration as a Baker Scholar, a PhD in neuroscience/biochemistry from the Rockefeller University, and a BS from Yale College.
