Morella Mendoza de Grossmann has served for over 20 years on the Board of the important Venezuelan Food Division of Empresas Polar, and serves on the Board of Productos EFE, the leading ice cream company in Venezuela.
In 1994, she started the M.M.G. Foundation, with the mission of helping in the education and treatment of children with diabetes and their families, and also directing cultural projects related to music. She is also a Board member of Fundacion Amigos contra la Diabetes.
Morella has been a Joslin patient since she was diagnosed with type 1diabetes in 1993. She participates in the Joslin Latino Initiative developing new educational material, culturally adapted for the Latino population. She is also involved in developing Telemedicine in Caracas together with the Beetham Eye Institute.
She earned a degree in Management Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, in 1981.
