Herbert G. Graetz

November 13 was a bittersweet day for Joslin’s Board of Trustees. After 30 years of service Joslin Trustee Herb Graetz retired that day. But although it was a time for goodbyes, it was also a moment to recognize the extraordinary philanthropy of Herb, and his wife Phyllis, who have been generous donors to Joslin for more than 40 years. In fact, they are among the top 20 donors to Joslin of all time.

In honor of Herb’s service and the couple’s philanthropy, a conference room on the seventh floor at Joslin is now named the Herb and Phyllis Graetz Conference Room. Their commitment will now be remembered on a daily basis—a fitting tribute to a couple who never forgot Joslin.
