Psychological Trauma

I started my career in social work as an outreach worker in homeless shelter programs serving people with serious and persistent mental illness. After graduating from the University of Michigan School of Social Work, I worked for the Boston Public Health Commission in the Safe Harbor program providing mental health care to homeless indivduals with addiction and HIV. I subsequently worked as a clinical social worker at the Fenway Community Health Center for 11 years and developed expertise in treating members of the LGBT community and people living with chronic illnesses, such as diabetes. As a behavioral health clinician at Joslin, I am dedicated to helping people with diabetes address challenges they are facing in their lives and to improve their health and emotional well being.
