Joslin/BIDMC Collaborative Eye Care Program

Joslin Diabetes Center and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) collaborate on diabetes clinical care.

The Joslin/BIDMC Collaborative Eye Care Program offers premier, diabetes-specific ophthalmic care focused on preventing and treating eye disease to preserve vision.

BIDMC patients with diabetic eye diseases affecting the eye’s retina can be seen at the Beetham Eye Institute. Glaucoma, cataract, age-related macular degeneration and other nondiabetic eye diseases are managed by BIDMC ophthalmologists with expertise in these eye conditions.
