Lewis Cantley, Ph.D.

Dr. Cantley's laboratory utilizes a variety of approaches, including cell biology, systems biology, biochemistry, enzymology, mass spec. proteomics and metabolomics and mouse genetic models to study signal transduction pathways that control cell growth and survival in response to growth factors, hormones and oncogenes.  The biochemical basis for metabolic control by growth factors and the PI3K pathway is a central focus.
