A Spoonful of Ginger

A Spoonful of Ginger is an annual culinary and cultural experience to promote awareness and raise funds for the diabetes care, education, community outreach and research programs organized by the Asian American Diabetes Initiative (AADI) at Joslin Diabetes Center. The event brings together the areas most renowned and celebrated chefs for a spectacular evening sure to delight even the most discriminating taste buds.

Dodging for Diabetes

On Sunday, March 10th Anna Tiedeman Irwin and Elizabeth Kramer Dugan put on the 8th Annual Dodging Diabetes dodgeball tournament in the Washington, D.C. area.  100% of the money they raise supports diabetes research and treatment with a portion of the proceeds benefitting Joslin Diabetes Center.

T.J.Maxx Give-A-Dollar

T.J. Maxx stores throughout the U.S. hosted the seventh annual in-store Give-A-Dollar campaign to raise money for the Joslin Diabetes Center’s High Hopes Fund. Last year this program raised over $655,000 for Joslin Diabetes Center!  100% of the funds raised were to benefit Joslin Diabetes Center.

CityFeast 2013

On Sunday January 27th, Joslin dined out to conquer diabetes at CityFeast 2013. CityFeast is a five-course dinner with wine pairings at your choice of one of Boston’s exclusive restaurants. This year were delighted to welcome restaurants in the South End and Seaport neighborhoods to join this tradition which began in the North End.
