Donor Advised Funds

Joslin Diabetes Center is a certified 501(c)(3) organization and gladly accepts gifts from donor advised funds (DAF). DAF is a charitable giving program that allows you to combine favorable tax benefits with the flexibility to support your favorite cause. Gifts via DAFs do not include fees like with credit card gifts so Joslin is able to put your entire gift to use preventing and curing diabetes. If you have a Fidelity or Schwab donor advised fund (at this time other DAFs cannot use this link), DAF Direct (see sidebar) enables you to easily recommend grants to Joslin directly.

Note: In most cases, gifts made through a donor advised fund may not be used as a payment for a pledge, or if there are to be any goods or services returned to the donor such as with an event. Please refer to the rules provided by the organization in which your DAF is held. In order to maintain our non-profit status, Joslin cannot accept event gifts or pledge payments through donor advised funds.

If you do not have a donor advised fund or want to support Joslin through another method, click here for our online giving form.

Thank you for considering Joslin Diabetes Center when making your philanthropic decisions.
