Joslin Development Foundation Board, Inaugural Meeting

On Thursday, November 14, the Development Foundation Board for Joslin Diabetes Center held its inaugural meeting. The Board has been created to team up with Joslin Development staff to work on the Center’s annual philanthropy goals.

Members of the board joined executives from Joslin and representatives from Development to discuss a number of issues, including identifying and cultivating key prospective donors, setting goals for giving, and acting as strong advocates for Joslin.

“This was a great meeting,” said Rick Price, Joslin’s Acting Vice President of Development. “I am extremely excited about the start we’ve made. We have a new board made up of some really impressive and enthusiastic people. We’re all looking forward to having them on the Joslin team, and I believe we are going to do great work together. ”
