Children and Parents' Groups

The Joslin Pediatric Team is teaming up with JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) and leading local parent groups around Massachusetts.

These parent groups, also known as Networking Coffees, usually take place in the homes of JDRF volunteers.  The Networking Coffees provide a place to meet other parents that have a child with diabetes and learn more about diabetes.

Meetings take place every month except for July and August on various days and at various times.  Joslin providers have lead groups on a variety of topics including diabetes management tips, nutrition, exercise, travel, and family issues.

For a list of upcoming coffees you can refer to the following website link:   www.jdrf.org/networkingcoffees
