Education

One of the best ways to prevent complications is to learn how to manage diabetes. That's why, at Joslin, we provide age-appropriate educational programs for children and teens. We also equip school nurses and caregivers with the education programs and tools they need to care for children with diabetes outside of Joslin.

Benny Ho spent years tailoring power suits for some of Boston's most famous citizens. His attention to detail made him a favorite tailor, but it also has helped him adapt to his diagnosis of type 2 diabetes. He diligently works to control his diabetes through diet and exercise, with the help of Joslin's Asian American Diabetes Initiative.
