Morris White, Ph.D.

Dr. White has been a principal investigator studying insulin action and the insulin signaling cascades coordinated by since 1987.  His current research deals with the molecular mechanisms that regulate signaling through the IRS1 and IRS2 branches of the cascade. This work has been continuously supported by NIH grants since 1987. Dr. White has a broad background in physiology, cell biology, and endocrinology. He serves as an editor on several journals and on various NIH study sections, including Molecular and Cellular Endocrinology (MCE) and Cellular Aspects of Diabetes and Obesity (CADO)
