Alicia Peters-Torrey, Chief Information Officer

I enjoy the complexity of the opportunities we are currently working through in the IT department – it requires me to think analytically about almost everything we are doing, and that is an exciting challenge.

I am also very mission-driven and I love that about the people here, that so many of them are personally invested in making these breakthroughs and doing research to find a cure for diabetes. This motivates me, and I love to see others share that motivation; it’s a sense of camaraderie and it’s energizing.

I believe the leadership here has the right vision and more importantly, a commitment to that vision to keep Joslin positioned as a world leader in the evolving landscape of healthcare and research.
