We are pleased to share that Joslin has once again been acknowledged by the National Committee for Quality Assurance’s (NCQA) Diabetes Recognition Program (DRP) for the high-quality care provided by our clinical staff in the Adult Diabetes Section.

Based on the efforts of our Clinic colleagues, our entire Center will be acknowledged through 2023. NCQA developed the DRP to provide clinicians with tools to support the delivery and recognition of consistent high-quality care. This voluntary program is designed to recognize clinicians who use evidence-based measures and provide excellent care to their patients with diabetes.

The DRP Program includes measures which cover areas such as: HbA1c control, blood pressure control, eye examinations, nephropathy assessment, foot examination, smoking and tobacco use and cessation advice or treatment. Achieving DRP Recognition demonstrates to our peers, patients and others in the Diabetes community that we are part of an elite group that is publicly recognized for their skill in providing the highest-level diabetes care.

Please join us in congratulating our clinicians, educators, and staff on this recognition.
