Boston, Ma., (July 9, 2019) – Joslin Diabetes Center, an affiliate of Harvard Medical School, today announced that three new members have been elected to its Board of Trustees:

  • Todd Abbrecht, Head of Private Equity, Thomas H. Lee Partners
  • Susan Dacey, CEO and Board of Directors Chair, Industrial Polymers and Chemicals, Inc.  
  • Martin Pasqualini, Managing Director, CCA Group

We greatly look forward to working with them.”

Todd Abbrecht is Head of Private Equity and a member of the management committee at Thomas H. Lee Partners (THL). Since 1992, Mr. Abbrecht has been involved in the execution of THL's investments in the consumer and healthcare space. Prior to joining THL, Mr. Abbrecht worked at Credit Suisse First Boston in its mergers and acquisitions department.

Susan Dacey currently serves as CEO and Chair of the Board of Directors Chair for Industrial Polymers and Chemicals, Inc., having acted as President and CEO of the company since 1996. In 2000, under Susan’s leadership, IPAC purchased the former Quinco Fabrics to become the only totally integrated manufacturer of fiberglass reinforcements. In addition to her current role, Dacey is Board of Trustees President with The Massachusetts Manufacturing Self-Insurance Group and works in commercial real estate.

Mr. Pasqualini is a Managing Director and Founding Member of CCA Group LLC, a leading renewable finance firm. He has more than 28 years of experience executing a wide variety of project and structured financings as both an attorney and banker. Mr. Pasqualini has advised sponsors and capital providers in connection with the financing of over 100 utility scale renewable energy facilities in his role at CCA Group. Prior to co-founding CCA Group, Mr. Pasqualini was a Managing Director in the Tax Products Group at BTM Capital Corporation and was formerly a partner in the Project and Structured Finance Group of Bingham Dana LLP.

Each of the three new Trustees was elected to a three-year term at the June Board of Trustees meeting.
