The 29th Annual Evening at POPS took place on Friday, May 8th at Symphony Hall in Boston raising over $80,000 for the High Hopes Fund. Over 200 guests gathered for a pre-concert reception. David Ring, owner of Applied Plastics and long-time supporter and sponsor of Evening at Pops, presented Donald Barnett, MD and M. Donna Younger, MD with the Frank and Jean Ring Memorial Award in the Fight Against Diabetes. Dr. Younger and Dr. Barnett worked alongside Dr. Elliott P. Joslin early in their careers and have contributed to significant milestones in diabetes treatment and education. Following the reception, guests attended Singin’ in the Rain: Film with Orchestra. Thank you to everyone that attended this year’s event! We were thrilled to celebrate Dr. Barnett and Dr. Younger and their truly remarkable careers at Joslin for over 50 years each.
