The 14th Annual A Taste of Ginger will take place on Monday, April 9th at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston with a goal of raising $330,000 for Joslin Diabetes Center's Asian American Diabetes Initiative (AADI). Join celebrated chefs for an unforgettable night of transcultural cuisine at an extraordinary venue. Past chefs have included Jasper White, Joanne Chang, Andy Husbands, Ming Tsai, Jose Duarte and more. We appreciate your support as we continue to translate our research findings into clinical management and treatment plans for Asian Americans living with diabetes.

The 31st Annual Evening at POPS event took place on Friday, May 12, 2017 at Symphony Hall in Boston raising over $70,000 for Joslin Diabetes Center's High Hopes Fund. Over 200 guests joined us for a special evening with the Boston POPs and Keith Lockhart for "E.T. in Concert." This year, we honored Joslin pediatrics patient, J. Barron Clancy III for his love of the symphony and living well with diabetes.

The 18th Annual High Hopes Gala took place on Saturday, November 4, 2017 at The Westin Copley Place, Hotel raising over $1.5 million for Joslin Diabetes Center's High Hopes Fund. Nearly 500 guests gathered to celebrate Joslin Diabetes Center and the Global Achievement Honoree, Joslin's Chief of Pediatric, Adolescent and Young Adult Section, Lori Laffel, M.D., MPH. We were also joined by special guest, Jason Varitek, emcee J.C. Monahan, News Anchor for NBC Boston., auctioneer Billy Costa of KISS 108's "Matty in the Morning" and NESN's "Dining Playbook."

Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to this year's event! You helped us raise more than $1.5 million for our clinical care and research programs that allow us to continue our work in the fight against diabetes!
