Jennifer LeBlanc has over 17 years of combined clinical, research, operations, and management experience. She is currently the Senior Director of The Global Education and Care division at the Joslin Diabetes Center in Boston, MA, which is dedicated to sharing Joslin’s expertise with healthcare systems and corporations globally.
Jennifer has her Master’s in Business Administration, specializing in Healthcare Management and is also a Registered Nurse (RN) and Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (DCES). Prior to her role at Joslin, she had a very successful tenure in the diabetes medical device industry, as a key member of a commercial leadership team as well as several years as a nursing director for a diabetes camp in New England.
Jennifer is also a recent graduate of Harvard University’s, Macy’s Institute where she trained in Medical Education design and implementation with an elite group of leaders from Harvard. Additionally, she was the American Association of Diabetes Care and Education Specialist’s recipient for the “Innovative Use of Technology Award” for her creation of the ActNow™ education framework focused on teaching healthcare providers to drive optional patient outcomes using technology and shared decision making.
Jennifer has been a keynote speaker and on copious thought-leader panels at national and global healthcare conferences. She also serves on several advisory boards, including the American Diabetes Association and the Association of Diabetes Care and Education Specialists.
