Joslin Diabetes Center's COVID-19 pandemic hybrid care model allows patients to tailor their care with remote and in-person services, including telehealth visits. Please visit our main COVID-19 page for all this information in both English and Spanish. Please access COVID Pass the day of any on-site appointment to answer screening questions to receive a pass. 

Currently, Joslin does not have a supply of COVID-19 vaccine.  Vaccine availability and distribution are controlled by federal and state authorities. If the vaccine becomes available to us, Joslin will adhere to the state's plan for prioritized distribution. Please monitor the COVID-19 page on our website for updates.

Jennifer LeBlanc has over 17 years of combined clinical, research, business, and management experience. She is currently the Director of Global Education and Consulting at the Joslin Diabetes Center in Boston, MA and is also a Registered Nurse and Diabetes Care and Education Specialist. Prior to this role, she had a very successful tenure in the medical device industry, as a key member of a commercial and clinical leadership team. Jennifer is a recent graduate of Harvard University’s, Macy’s Institute where she trained in Medical Education design and implementation with an elite group of leaders from Harvard. In 2019, she was awarded the American Association of Diabetes Care and Education Specialist’s recipient for the “Innovative Use of Technology Award” for her creation of the ActNow™ education framework. Jennifer has been a keynote speaker and on several thought-leader panels at numerous regional and national conferences and serves on several national interest groups and advisory boards, including the American Diabetes Association. She is extremely passionate about driving forward technological and educational innovations that improve the way we deliver healthcare to both patients and healthcare providers.
