Technological Advances in Glucose Management in Older Adults
Description:
This study assesses a new technology that aids the communication of health information amongst patients, family members/caregivers, and providers. The study is also looking to determine if this technology is a helpful tool in diabetes management.
This study includes:
- 6-8 visits (both virtual and Joslin Clinical Research Center visits) over 6-12 months
- Monetary compensation for visits and parking
Recruitment:
- 65 years of age and older
- Type 1 Diabetes
- Either take multiple insulin injections (≥3 injection/s day) or use an insulin pump (Medtronic, Insulet)
